HISTORY

Built in 1961, our facility was originally named “Lighted Acres.” In 1990, it was renamed “Lighted Gardens.” Over the past four decades, we have hosted a diverse range of events. Under the current ownership and management of Chef Jerry Springer since 1998, we have maintained our tradition of providing a warm and welcoming space for celebrations and meetings of all sizes.

BALLROOM

Lighted Gardens consists of two large banquet rooms. Our BALLROOM features a cathedral ceiling, 4,000 square feet of hardwood maple flooring, and the largest revolving mirror ball in Indiana. Depending on the type of function you are having, we can accommodate from 200 to 275 guests with a private entrance, bar station, and elevated bandstand.

GARDEN ROOM

Lighted Gardens features a uniquely decorated hall in a garden motif. The hall boasts wall-to-wall carpeting and hand-stenciled walls, creating a garden-like ambiance. With its garden feel lobby, signature lamp post, private entrance, and bar facilities, the Garden Room can comfortably accommodate up to 140 guests. A short hallway connects both halls, making them ideal for large functions. Depending on the event, Lighted Gardens can accommodate up to 450 guests.
